What is Ecnoglutide / XW003?
Sciwind describes this injectable as a cAMP-biased GLP-1 receptor agonist approved in mainland China for type 2 diabetes and overweight/obesity. The oral formulation, XW004, is a separate development program. Product, formulation and country matter.

Overview
Ecnoglutide, also called XW003, is a long-acting GLP-1 analogue described as cAMP-biased. The name identifies the injectable development program, not Sciwind’s separate oral XW004 formulation. Understanding that distinction matters before comparing results, administration or exposure. A signaling feature is a research characteristic, not an automatic promise of better care.
Community Use
No exact XW003 protocol or ecnoglutide profile on the two requested community sites was verified for attribution. General GLP-1 discussions do not supply molecule-specific evidence. This guide uses the published EECOH-1 report and Sciwind’s development information rather than assigning community benefits or schedules from another drug.
Doses, Durations & Cycles
Informal biohacking protocols and published regimens. Attributed website reports for education, not medical recommendations. Multiple publications document circulation; they do not establish a safe dose or validate a cycle.

|---|---|---|---|---|

| Subcutaneous | Initial 0.3 mg; 4-week steps through 0.6, 1.2, 1.8 and 2.4 mg, stopping at assigned 1.2, 1.8 or 2.4 mg target | Weekly | 48 weeks; primary endpoints at week 40 Break: No biohacking break established by this study | Controlled phase 3 obesity study Lancet Diabetes & Endocrinology 2025: SLIMMER |

Important context: Ecnoglutide is a cAMP-biased GLP-1 receptor agonist, not a GLP-1/GIP dual agonist. The proposed 0.1/0.25/0.4 mg starting/average/maximum table does not match these phase 3 regimens.

EECOH-1 tested weekly injectable groups for 24 weeks under a controlled protocol. The separate table retains the group, formulation and source. A diabetes trial regimen is not an established cosmetic weight-loss cycle. XW004’s oral exposure cannot be inferred from XW003’s injectable amount, and no conversion is supplied here.
Research Findings
EECOH-1 randomized 211 adults with type 2 diabetes at 32 Chinese centers. It compared ecnoglutide with placebo and assessed change in HbA1c at 24 weeks. The study concerns glycemic efficacy in that setting, not every metabolic goal or a guarantee about a product offered online.
U.S. Approval & Access
Sciwind’s pipeline describes country-specific development and authorization. That information should not be translated into an FDA-approval claim or assurance of U.S. availability. The exact product and current jurisdictional status must be checked by the clinical team; a research publication alone does not establish lawful patient access.
What It Does in the Body
The cAMP-biased description refers to the way receptor signaling is characterized during development. It does not mean the medicine has no adverse effects or that a person can expect superior results. Mechanistic findings need to be evaluated alongside human endpoints, dose exposure and the trial’s actual comparator. Reliable onset, peak clinical benefit and duration after stopping are not established for routine care by the sources reviewed; the length of a trial is not the duration of a guaranteed effect.
Benefits & Reported Experiences
EECOH-1 reported HbA1c reductions in the studied ecnoglutide groups compared with placebo at 24 weeks. That is an important diabetes outcome, but not a direct forecast of an individual’s weight change or quality of life. Consider baseline glucose control and other treatment when interpreting the magnitude of the result.
Side Effects & Risks
Tolerability should be assessed from the trial’s adverse-event and withdrawal reporting. GLP-1 biology makes digestive effects relevant, but rates from semaglutide cannot simply be assigned to ecnoglutide. A preparation outside the studied supply chain adds unresolved questions about exposure and contaminants, so trial safety language cannot validate it.
Delivery Options
The XW003 study used a subcutaneous product; XW004 investigates an oral formulation. Their instructions are not interchangeable. A genuine clinical or research program supplies its own administration education and oversight. This article contains no self-injection, preparation or oral-to-injectable conversion guide.
Product Quality & Storage
Confirm whether a claim concerns XW003, XW004 or a loosely named online material. The route and formulation are part of the intervention, not superficial packaging. A laboratory certificate cannot demonstrate clinical equivalence to the trial product. Ask the provider to identify the actual authorized or investigational product and accountable care pathway. No verified patient-use storage specification is supplied by the cited research. Research materials cannot inherit an approved medicine’s stability or storage instructions; an authorized program must provide its product-specific conditions.
Combinations & Interactions
No validated community stack is established by EECOH-1. Adding another GLP-1 drug or a separate appetite-related peptide changes the intervention being evaluated. The study’s results do not prove that such combinations improve benefit or safety. A complete medication review is needed rather than combining separate favorable trial headlines.
Talking With Your Provider
Ask a qualified clinician what the diabetes trial answers, what it leaves uncertain and whether an approved alternative fits your needs. Bring prior medication experience and the goals you want to address. An informed discussion can be useful even when this specific molecule is not an available or appropriate option.

Questions worth bringing to your appointment.
- Are there alternatives that address my goal?
- If treatment is appropriate, what monitoring and follow-up would I need?
- Could my health history or current medicines change the risks?
A clinician may recommend a different option—or no medication—after assessing your individual circumstances.
