Midlife care · Options that fit your symptoms
Your next chapter deserves a plan that listens.
Hot flashes, night sweats and vaginal discomfort can interrupt everyday life. You deserve room to discuss what is changing and what relief might look like. A menopause consultation compares appropriate hormone and nonhormone options around your symptoms, history and preferences. The aim is a thoughtful decision you understand, with follow-up as your needs evolve.

Starting at $39.99per month equivalent · medication only
Alloy lists oral estradiol starting at $39.99 for a one-month supply. It generally bills subscriptions every three months. This benchmark covers one medication, not a complete hormone-care plan.
Other formulations, progesterone when appropriate, additional medicines and labs cost extra. A consultation determines which options fit. Seine Bio service, supply and final pricing require confirmation; membership is separate.

Menopause & Midlife Hormone Care.
A clearer overview.
Clinical decisions require assessment.
Assessment concept. Exact treatment options, prescribing partners and supply remain unconfirmed.
The biological question.
Menopause hormone therapy may use systemic estrogen, local vaginal treatment, and a progestogen when indicated. These approaches address different symptoms and have different practical and safety considerations. Uterus status matters when discussing systemic estrogen because an appropriate progestogen may be needed to protect the endometrium. A consultation should make those distinctions clear instead of presenting every formulation as the same treatment.
The story behind the name.
Menopause treatment has shifted toward more individualized conversations about symptoms, timing and formulation. The word “bioidentical” is often used in marketing, but chemically identical hormone options can be FDA-approved; the word does not automatically mean compounded or risk-free. FDA noted estradiol patch availability difficulties in September 2026, another reason to discuss formulation choices without guaranteeing a particular product is immediately in stock.
FDA-approved products have particular indications. For example, DIVIGEL treats moderate-to-severe menopausal vasomotor symptoms, while PROMETRIUM has specified endometrial protection and amenorrhea uses. In February 2026 FDA approved label changes for six menopause hormone products, removing certain risk statements from the boxed warning. That did not remove every warning, contraindication or risk. The selected product’s current label and your clinical history remain central. ACOG recommends approved preparations when available instead of assuming compounded hormones are safer or more effective.

Risks & uncertainties
What deserves attention.
- Blood clots and stroke risks for relevant systemic regimens
- Endometrial cancer risk with unopposed systemic estrogen in a person with a uterus
- Breast cancer considerations depending on regimen and clinical history
- Bleeding, breast tenderness and headache
- Progesterone-related dizziness or drowsiness
- Ingredient-specific allergy, including peanut oil in PROMETRIUM
Clinical & regulatory context
Where this pathway fits.
- Review symptoms, uterus status, unexplained bleeding and relevant cancer history.
- Discuss clot, stroke, liver and other medical history alongside current medication.
- Compare local and systemic treatment according to the symptoms being addressed.
- Plan reassessment rather than promising the same therapy will suit every future stage.

Your questions.
A clearer starting point.
Take a moment to understand the practical differences, limits and next steps.
Do I have to choose hormone therapy?
No. A consultation can compare hormone and nonhormone approaches. The decision depends on symptoms, medical history, preferences and the balance of benefits and risks. Asking for care does not commit you to a prescription.
Are bioidentical hormones always compounded?
No. Some approved estradiol and progesterone products are chemically identical to hormones produced in the body. Compounded products are not FDA-approved, and the label “bioidentical” does not prove that they are safer or more effective.
Did the 2026 label changes remove all risks?
No. Changes to boxed warnings are not the same as elimination of risks. Current formulation-specific warnings, contraindications and individual circumstances still guide care. DIVIGEL, for example, retains an endometrial cancer boxed warning.
