Can I join if I’m interested in Semax?+
Yes. Start with your focus or wellness goals and bring your interest to the clinical assessment. Any potential Semax pathway requires individual review, eligibility and authorization.
What if Semax isn’t appropriate or available?+
Your clinician can discuss other suitable care options or further assessment. Your membership benefits are separate from access to a particular compound.
Does this guarantee better concentration?+
No. The assessment helps clarify your concern and appropriate next steps. Research interest is not proof that a treatment will improve everyday concentration.
What will I pay for treatment?+
The selected catalog option starts at $70 per 5 mg cartridge, separate from membership. If a pathway is authorized, your written offer confirms the program and exact price, including any prepaid package terms.

Treatment information, evidence & safety
Evidence before expectations
Read beyond
the headline.
A useful research discussion includes the study design, the population and the outcome measured.
Read the original sourcesA 1997 clinical and electrophysiological publication examined Semax as part of combined intensive treatment for acute ischemic stroke. The population and treatment setting are very different from someone shopping for a focus aid.
A 2021 study examined protein expression in a rat model of cerebral ischemia and reperfusion. It offers a biological research lead, not proof of benefit for fatigue, ADHD, dementia or everyday forgetfulness in humans.
FDA’s 2026 briefing evaluates cerebral ischemia, migraine and trigeminal neuralgia and describes important evidence and safety gaps. For a visitor with ongoing brain fog, the more useful next step is understanding the symptom pattern and deciding which assessment is appropriate.
| Research setting | What the record shows | What it does not establish |
|---|---|---|
| Older stroke research | Semax was studied alongside intensive care for ischemic stroke. | Does not establish benefit for healthy-person focus. |
| Animal mechanism study | Researchers assessed brain protein changes after experimental ischemia. | A rat model is not a human treatment outcome. |
| 2026 regulatory review | FDA prepared a substance-specific compounding briefing. | Review is not an approved drug label or access guarantee. |
Understand the evidence
Understanding doses
and cycles.
A clear reference for your conversation with a clinician.
Research doses describe a specific study, not a treatment plan. Online popularity does not establish safety.
| Preparation / context | Dose reference | Frequency | Duration / cycle | Evidence & source |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Semax | Not established for this proposed wellness use | Not established | No validated human on/off cycle | Evidence limitations Formulation and route must match any study; a generic nootropic cycle is not established. Read the source |
Swipe or scroll sideways to see every column. There is no universal peptide cycle. A published trial, a product label and an informal online protocol are different kinds of information.

Risks & concerns
What deserves attention.
- The 2026 FDA briefing describes limited safety information for the proposed subcutaneous route.
- Animal findings involving several neurotransmitter systems leave unanswered interaction and abuse-potential questions.
- Peptide quality, aggregation, allergy and preparation-specific exposure require consideration; an online purity percentage is not a patient safety assessment.
A compound’s name, a purity claim or research-use labeling does not establish patient-ready quality, sterility or a reliable clinical outcome.
Regulatory context
Review is not an approval.
Semax free base and acetate were included in the July 2026 compounding review. FDA advisory recommendations are nonbinding. Compound-specific requirements, patient suitability and any proposed access pathway require individual review and authorization.
Compounding review, permission to conduct research and approval of a finished drug are different decisions. This page is an invitation to learn and discuss appropriate care, not a statement that this compound can be supplied.
