A defined diagnosis · Specialist hormone care
Answers for suspected deficiency start with the right assessment.
A history of pituitary disease or suspected growth hormone deficiency deserves specialist attention. Learn how adult deficiency is evaluated and why it differs from ordinary aging or a general body-composition goal. If this is part of your medical history, the useful next step is a focused assessment of diagnosis, treatment options and monitoring.

A general care conversation can help clarify an appropriate next step. Suspected growth hormone deficiency requires specialist assessment; the specialist and pharmacy must confirm the licensed medicine, monitoring and separate costs.
Specialist endocrinology, diagnostic testing and growth hormone medication are separate services. Optional membership does not offer HGH for anti-aging or bodybuilding, establish a deficiency diagnosis or guarantee specialist treatment.

Clinical decisions require assessment.
Specialist information for defined medical conditions. No general HGH wellness program is offered.
The biological question.
Somatropin is human growth hormone supplied as a licensed biological medicine. It is not the same as a growth-hormone-releasing peptide. In appropriately diagnosed adult growth hormone deficiency, a product such as GENOTROPIN has a specific replacement role. An age-associated hormone change, low energy or one IGF-1 result is not automatically the same diagnosis. The specialist may need appropriate provocative testing, with exceptions described in product labeling.
The story behind the name.
Human growth hormone has an established role in defined endocrine conditions, but also a history of anti-aging and performance promotion. Federal law places a specific restriction on HGH distribution for human uses outside a disease or recognized condition authorized under the statute and a physician’s order. This is more restrictive than treating all off-label drug decisions as ordinary clinician discretion. Somatropin’s biological-product status also means ordinary 503A/503B compounding exemptions are not a substitute for licensed sourcing.
The GENOTROPIN label defines adult-onset and childhood-onset growth hormone deficiency in adults and specifies important diagnostic and safety considerations. Its pediatric growth indications are separate from this adult information page. Medical replacement evidence should not be repackaged as proof of rejuvenation, gym performance or general weight-loss benefit in healthy adults. The selected biological product and the precise indication must guide any care discussion.

Dose depends on the exact product, route, indication and individual care plan. These references are educational.
| Preparation / context | Dose reference | Frequency | Duration / cycle | Evidence & source |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| NORDITROPIN · Subcutaneous | Non-weight-based start approximately 0.2 mg/day (range 0.15–0.3 mg/day); adjustments approximately 0.1–0.2 mg/day every 1–2 months according to clinical response and IGF-1 | Daily | Individualized replacement treatment with monitoring; no fixed duration maximum stated in this regimen; No routine training or anti-aging cycle in the label | Current FDA-approved product labeling, adult deficiency indication Replacement of endogenous growth hormone in adults with growth hormone deficiency Read the source |

Risks & uncertainties
What deserves attention.
- Glucose intolerance or diabetes
- Fluid retention, joint pain and carpal tunnel symptoms
- Intracranial hypertension
- Tumor progression or recurrence concerns
- Severe hypersensitivity
- Changes in thyroid or adrenal needs
- Increased mortality in certain acute critical illness settings
Clinical & regulatory context
Where this pathway fits.
- Specialist evaluation must distinguish adult deficiency from aging or nonspecific fatigue.
- Pituitary history, testing and other hormone needs may affect the assessment.
- A current licensed product, dispensing route and appropriate monitoring must be verified.
- The particular HGH distribution route requires confirmation under its specific federal restrictions.

Your questions.
A clearer starting point.
Take a moment to understand the practical differences, limits and next steps.
Can HGH be offered as an anti-aging membership perk?
This page does not offer that service. HGH has specific federal distribution restrictions, and the approved adult indication concerns diagnosed deficiency. A membership fee cannot create clinical eligibility or legal authority for a rejuvenation program.
Does low IGF-1 prove I need treatment?
A single result is not automatically a diagnosis. The product label describes appropriate evaluation and generally calls for provocative testing with specified exceptions. The interpretation belongs with a clinician experienced in adult endocrine disorders.
How is HGH different from sermorelin?
Somatropin supplies human growth hormone directly. Sermorelin acts on releasing-hormone signaling. The products differ in their medical evidence, historical approvals and legal pathways. Evidence for one does not validate a proposed use of the other.
What can I do through this page?
Read specialist information and ask about an appropriate next step. Seine Bio has not confirmed a growth hormone prescribing and supply service. Do not join solely expecting HGH access; any future treatment needs a defined diagnosis, lawful product and separate pricing.
