Overview
Selank plus Semax is an informal pairing of two investigational neuropeptides in the US context. Community descriptions associate one with anxiety and the other with cognition, but that division is not proof of a safe, effective combined mental-health treatment. The exact formulation and the difference between clinical symptoms and laboratory measures must remain visible.
Community Use
Peptidepedia publishes a Selank/Semax comparison, reflecting the common interest in combining the two. This is a community interpretation rather than a human trial of joint treatment. No matching combined protocol was found in the requested PeptideDosages catalog. Community comparison source.
Doses, Durations & Cycles
Informal biohacking protocols and published regimens. Attributed website reports for education, not medical recommendations. Multiple publications document circulation; they do not establish a safe dose or validate a cycle.
| Route / formulation | Dose / reported phases | Frequency | Duration / break | Notes and source |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Intranasal, separate sprays | Its explicit Core Cognitive Stack gives semax 200–400 mcg + selank 200–300 mcg per combined administration. | One to two times daily | 2–3 weeks Break: Two weeks | Published informal biohacking claim Hatter Labs The detailed table separately describes morning both plus afternoon semax only. Do not turn that timing note into an additional calculated daily combined dose. |
| Intranasal | Morning: selank 250–500 mcg + semax 200–600 mcg. Midday: selank 250 mcg + semax 200–400 mcg. Optional early evening: selank 250 mcg alone. | Morning and midday paired administrations; optional evening selank alone. Source spaces the paired products by 15–30 minutes. | Standard active phase 14–28 days in the cycling section following the combined schedule. Break: Standard off phase 14–28 days, matching active duration. | Published informal biohacking claim Peptides Academy Explicit combined-dose table. Acetylated/amidated variants and their adjustments are excluded from this claim. |
Important context: Two publishers explicitly provide a Selank/Semax combination schedule with component doses, route, frequency and cycling. The schedules differ, including single-component afternoon/evening options. These are attributed circulating protocol claims rather than one evidence-established combination dose.

No validated human dose or on/off wellness cycle for the combined pairing is established. Amounts from separate-agent reports do not define a combined regimen, and route or formulation uncertainty should not be resolved by assumption. A chart must keep each study arm separate rather than add doses together.
Research Findings
A 2020 study examined functional brain connectivity in 52 healthy participants receiving Selank, Semax, or placebo in separate arms. It did not test the combination as treatment for anxiety or depression. A separate Selank report concerned selected anxiety-related disorders. Human separate-arm imaging study; Separate Selank clinical report.
U.S. Approval & Access
No FDA-approved Selank/Semax combination is established here. Reports of use or authorization in another jurisdiction do not create US approval. FDA has reviewed safety and compounding questions for these substances; that process is not authorization of a general cognitive or emotional-wellbeing program.
What It Does in the Body
Proposed actions involve neuropeptide signaling, with different hypotheses for each molecule. Brain-connectivity changes are not equivalent to a proven emotional or cognitive benefit. Reliable onset, peak clinical benefit, and duration for combined use remain unknown; short-term imaging timepoints cannot supply a personal treatment timetable.
Benefits & Reported Experiences
An imaging difference in healthy volunteers does not demonstrate reduced anxiety, recovery from trauma, improved work performance, or remission of depression. Those outcomes need relevant clinical studies and meaningful follow-up. Separate-agent reports also cannot establish that pairing the substances improves outcomes or reduces adverse effects.
Side Effects & Risks
The combined safety profile is not adequately established by the cited studies. FDA’s assessment highlights limits in the evidence for Semax, and formulation uncertainty adds another question. A description such as calming or nootropic should not be used as a substitute for systematic safety data. FDA Semax assessment.
Delivery Options
Intranasal products and injectable research descriptions are not interchangeable. The exact route and formulation need to be specified when interpreting a report. This article does not provide spray counts, preparation instructions, injection technique, or a regimen for switching between routes.
Product Quality & Storage
Confirm the precise identity and evidence for a product before interpreting a purity claim. A pair of names does not establish the formulation, ratio, or lawful clinical route. No storage instructions are guessed for an unapproved combination; any authorized product would require its own verified directions.
Combinations & Interactions
Combining these agents with psychiatric medicines, stimulants, or other nootropics requires clinical review. This page provides no self-directed cognitive stack. Interaction uncertainty and effects on symptoms can make assessment harder, especially when several changes are introduced at once.
Talking With Your Provider
For anxiety, attention difficulties, depression, or trauma-related symptoms, seek an assessment and discuss established care options. Explain why the research interests you and share current medicines. A clinician can help distinguish an interesting biological report from an appropriate mental-health plan; urgent symptoms require prompt care rather than an experimental pathway.
