Have focus or mental-clarity questions?
Start with your goals and a personal care inquiry. A clinician can review appropriate options and whether further research-program screening makes sense.
Starting estimate: $239 per month* for an eligible authorized program, separate from membership. Confirm program availability, what is included, package length and any total upfront payment after review, before purchase.

What is Semax?
Studies include rat models of brain ischemia. Those findings do not establish improved focus, mood, or cognition in healthy people. FDA identifies limited route-specific safety information. FDA safety context.

Overview
Semax is a synthetic peptide derived from an ACTH fragment with an added peptide sequence. It has been studied in neurological research and is discussed online as a cognitive product. That interest should be separated from claims that it improves memory, attention, or everyday productivity in otherwise healthy people.
Community Use
Peptidepedia places Semax in a cognitive category, while PeptideDosages.com publishes protocol material. Community descriptions of mental energy or focus are not the same as outcomes measured in patients. They also cannot establish equivalence between the original molecule and modified products.
Doses, Durations & Cycles
Informal biohacking protocols and published regimens. Attributed website reports for education, not medical recommendations. Multiple publications document circulation; they do not establish a safe dose or validate a cycle.
| Route / formulation | Dose / reported phases | Frequency | Duration / break | Notes and source |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Intranasal, standard Semax | 200–600 mcg per administration in its focus example | 1–2 times daily | 2–4 weeks Break: 1–2 weeks | Published informal biohacking claim PeptideWiki |
| Intranasal; subcutaneous discussed separately | Intranasal: 200–600 mcg total per day; separate subcutaneous example: 200–600 mcg once daily | Intranasal 1–2 administrations daily; subcutaneous once daily | 2 weeks Break: 2–4 weeks | Published informal biohacking claim Peptide Protocols |
Important context: One site quotes per-administration amounts, another daily totals. Standard Semax and acetylated variants cannot share an assumed dose.

No FDA-approved Semax regimen for focus or neuroprotection is established here. The chart preserves source context and is not a personal schedule. A rodent exposure, an overseas preparation, and a commercially modified variant each require separate interpretation; their amounts and routes should not be merged.
Research Findings
A 2021 rat ischemia–reperfusion study examined molecular responses after experimental brain injury, including signaling and inflammatory pathways. It supports investigation of possible neuroprotective mechanisms. It does not demonstrate a memory or focus benefit in healthy people, a treatment for attention disorders, or recovery after human stroke.
U.S. Approval & Access
Semax is not FDA-approved. An overseas treatment history does not authorize a US commercial formulation or establish a lawful compounding route. Any proposed clinical use needs current product-specific review. Educational discussion does not imply that Seine Bio supplies Semax or that a member will receive it.
What It Does in the Body
The primary experiment examined changes involving CREB, JNK, MMP-9, and other responses in injured rat tissue. Such findings can help researchers choose questions for subsequent studies. They do not mean the peptide universally restores neurons or increases intelligence; the condition, organism, and measured endpoint remain central. For the uses discussed here, reliable clinical onset, peak benefit, and duration are not established. Route-specific human peak exposure and persistence cannot be inferred from community schedules or a laboratory response.
Benefits & Reported Experiences
Improved signaling in an injury model is not a patient outcome. To support a cognitive claim, a study should measure relevant function in the population of interest with an appropriate comparator. Community accounts cannot supply a dependable onset, degree, or duration of benefit, especially when other interventions are used.
Side Effects & Risks
The cited animal study cannot establish long-term human safety or event rates for informal cognitive use. A clinician should review psychiatric and neurological history, other medicines, and the reasons a cognitive symptom has developed. A product described as a nootropic can still have uncertain biological effects and quality risks.
Delivery Options
Community nasal products and other formulations need evidence about the actual preparation and exposure. Delivery-route familiarity does not validate a medicine, and modification can change its properties. This page provides no spray, injection, reconstitution, or dose-conversion directions and does not endorse research-only supplies for personal use.
Product Quality & Storage
The exact sequence and chemical form matter when comparing a product with a paper. An acetylated or amidated analog cannot inherit every finding for Semax without direct evidence. Identity and purity testing are useful quality questions, but they do not prove patient benefit or complete a legal review. Storage must follow the authorized finished product’s labeling or an approved study protocol; temperatures and beyond-use times cannot be inferred from research-vial guidance.
Combinations & Interactions
Online discussions pair Semax with Selank and other cognitive substances. Separate mechanistic theories do not establish a tested combined treatment. Mixing products can obscure which caused a mood, sleep, attention, or adverse change. No consumer stacking intervals or combination schedule is supplied in this educational profile.
Talking With Your Provider
For brain fog, attention difficulty, or a new neurological symptom, seek assessment of the underlying concern. A clinician can review sleep, existing conditions, medicines, and established treatment options. Sudden or severe neurological symptoms need urgent care, not a routine peptide inquiry or a trial of an unapproved product.

Questions worth bringing to your appointment.
- Are there alternatives that address my goal?
- If treatment is appropriate, what monitoring and follow-up would I need?
- Could my health history or current medicines change the risks?
A clinician may recommend a different option—or no medication—after assessing your individual circumstances.
