SEINE BIO · Research, evidence & your next steps
Focused research into small-fiber neuropathy.
ARA-290, also called cibinetide, has shown encouraging signals in small studies of specific neuropathy-related conditions. Explore the findings and discuss how they relate to your diagnosis and established care options.
This catalog formulation is investigational, not an FDA approved treatment.
How ARA-290 works
ARA-290 is an erythropoietin-derived peptide designed to engage tissue-protective signaling without reproducing erythropoietin’s red-blood-cell production effect. That design goal does not establish clinical safety or efficacy for every neuropathy.
Why it’s getting attention
Small controlled sarcoidosis studies reported improvement in some neuropathic symptom measures; another studied daily subcutaneous treatment and nerve-related measures. Their limited size and disease-specific settings do not establish general pain relief or a routine SEINE BIO protocol.
Protocol reference at a glance
Reference context, not your prescription. No established patient protocol was identified for this formulation. The chart summarizes research context, not directions for use.
| Stage | What to expect from the evidence |
|---|---|
| Research setting | Pilots studied monitored intravenous treatment three times weekly or daily subcutaneous treatment over four weeks. |
| Starting / loading phase | No validated routine-care starting or loading dose established for this exact formulation. |
| Standard dose / maximum | No validated standard patient dose or safe maximum established here. |
| Maintenance / cycles | No validated ongoing maintenance or cycling protocol identified. |
Presentation & administration
Different trials used different routes. Their schedules are research context, not interchangeable instructions for this catalog formulation; a safe nasal regimen is not established here.
Catalog presentation: Vial / Cartridge / Disposable Injection Pen. Listed strength options: 10 mg. One catalog unit is one selected presentation—not a box containing every pictured format. Total container content is not a personal dose, and an illustration does not verify an approved route or device.
Risks & common side effects
- Small-trial tolerability cannot rule out uncommon or long-term harm. Adverse-effect rates for this exact finished product remain unestablished.
- Neuropathy symptoms need evaluation for diabetes, deficiencies, medication effects, autoimmune disease and other causes. Do not delay established care or assume every nerve-pain condition has the same biology.
Tell your clinician about new or persistent symptoms and other medicines. Changes to treatment should be clinician-directed.
Other options worth discussing
Treating the underlying cause, established neuropathic-pain care and condition-specific rehabilitation are more established starting points. These alternatives also require individualized selection. “More established” does not mean risk-free or suitable for everyone; a clinician should compare benefits, contraindications and your preferences.
When to seek help
Worsening weakness, new gait problems, bladder/bowel changes or severe unexpected symptoms needs urgent clinical assessment.
Finished-product quality, concentration and route require verification. Review allergies, pregnancy, health conditions and other medicines with your clinician.
Do not wait for a portal reply in an emergency. Call 911 or seek emergency care for severe or rapidly worsening symptoms.
A few useful answers
Is it proven to regrow nerves in everyone?
No. Small disease-specific trial findings cannot establish a universal nerve-regeneration effect.
Does a four-week study define my cycle?
No. Study duration does not establish your dose, route, maintenance plan or safe maximum.
Does clinician authorization guarantee access?
No. Clinical appropriateness, lawful availability and a verified finished formulation must each be established. An Rx setting, luxury image or research-series label does not create regulatory approval.
